Sorry. I knew it truncate my address.

I'm about to drive from CT to Kansas and was hoping to pick up a few
easier boxes along the way. Since I'm travelling with the
antiletterboxer, they will have to be fairly short walks, probably
half and hour or so. a little more might be ok. If anyone has
suggestions, I would sure appreciate them.

Our route is as follows-

Interstates all the way -
Hartford to Wilkes-Barre on I-84 then I-81 to I-80.
We will be on I-80 to Youngstown, OH and taking I-76 (I think)to
Columbus
Then I-70 all the way to central Kansas.

Thanks for any tips. If you don't want to post to the list, feel
free to send any ideas to rtrw at attbi.com

If you plan to pick up I270 east then south around Columbus to get to
I70 west, just before I270 swings south is the Scioto River. Both "Field
of Corn" and "Leatherlips" are in that vicinity. I found both on 15 Mar.
03 but I think I read a recent e-mail saying that "Field of Corn" was
MIA. If you stay on I71 south of I270 to exit 115, Park of Roses is only
a few block to the west. There you can get "A Rose is a Rose" and
"Whet-stone". I think a recent e-mail said that the benches mentioned in
the clues for "A Rose is a Rose" have been moved, but I'm sure you can
work around that. The rose gardens are beautiful and worth seeing.
Leather Lips will bring a smile and Field of Corn is a-maize-ing, maybe
even to an antiLber. I'm sure you'll be getting many suggestions, but
being an Upstate NYer, these are the only ones I'm familiar with that
are near that leg of your planned route. Have a safe trip.

Thanks so much for the tips, Roc 'n Ron! We will try to find the boxes on our trip. I really appreciate the directions and highway numbers. that will save time for me on the research end. I'll let you know how we do.
